Make Your Amazon Purchases Support the Airline History Museum

Just log into your Amazon account through “smile.amazon.com”.  At the “Welcome” screen there are several pre-selected charities.  Scroll down to the “Search for Your Charitable Organization”  dialog box and enter “Save A Connie, Inc.” and Click on “Search”.  Select Save A Connie, Inc. as your Charitable Organization and you’re all done.

All of your Amazon Smile eligible purchases will then direct 0.5% of the purchase amount (excluding any taxes or shipping) to Save A Connie, Inc.   This is a great way to support the Airline History Museum at No Additional Cost to you!

Douglas Fans. We Need Your Help!

yokota-ati-dc8-4550nx-daiWe are in the process of bringing home the Douglas DC-8-62 donated to our museum by ATI last year. With your support we can get this aircraft home by the end of the year. Please visit our fundraising page Relocating the DC-8. Here is your chance to be a part of saving this aircraft for the aviation community and make it available to our youth as part of our growing STEM education packages. We have several levels available and your name will become a part of the aircraft in appreciation for your support.

Once the aircraft is in Kansas City, it will open up to the public for tours and kids will have the opportunity to sit in the cockpit and learn about aircraft systems and participate in our on-going maintenance and preservation of the aircraft. We intend to keep the aircraft in an airworthy condition and we hope to fly it to a few airshows in 2016. We thank your for your support!
